Sheridan Maine are recruiting for a new permanent position in Reading for an established business who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Working with the Finance Manager, the role will involve the following duties:
- Bank reconciliations
- Chasing invoice approvals
- Checking and inputting invoices onto the accounting system
- Preparing payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers
- Investigating invoice queries
The ideal candidate will have some prior experience of working within finance/ accounts payable/ accounts and be actively studying towards their AAT qualification. The role requires an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and has the ability to meet deadlines. A high degree of accuracy is essential along with a competent IT/ Excel skills.
The company are currently working remotely however there will be the requirement to work in the office long term. Car parking is available and the company are also situated close to public transport links. Benefits include AAT study support, flexible working and pension.
