Sheridan Maine are working with a dynamic and evolving organisation to recruit a newly created Finance Manager position which will help to support the continued growth of the business. This role could be based from multiple locations including their site on the South Coast, near to Portsmouth.

The key focus of the position will be to work across multiple office locations supporting the different entities by providing timely and accurate financial and management information. A major facet will be ensuring that the control environment is maintained with a specific focus on the balance sheet. You will also be responsible for the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements. You will manage a small team of 2 staff, potentially remotely, consisting of a Qualified Financial Accountant and a Trainee. 

The job holder will need to be comfortable with developing relationships and effective business partnering across multiple locations to assist with managing working capital, expenditure and projects. There will be a focus on financial analysis of data to support business decision making. This is a rapidly growing and evolving organisation so they are seeking someone who is agile and adaptable to change.

The successful candidate will be Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3 years+ experience gained post qualification. Key to success in the role will be the proven ability to influence key stakeholders through business partnering, mentoring and developing team members and the delivery of management and financial reports. A sound technical accounting and reporting background is required to know what good looks like and to implement the same across multiple entities. You will also need to possess advanced Excel skills and experience of data analysis tools such as Power BI or Concur would be highly advantageous.
