Sheridan Maine are delighted to be recruiting for a Financial Controller position for an organisation based in the Oxfordshire area. My client is a growing organisation who operates in a niche sector, and they require a technically strong Financial Controller to join the team in this excellent newly created role.
The role reports to the Finance Director and will liaise with the wider business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading a finance team in all aspects of day to day duties
• Production of statutory, financial accounts, monthly management accounts, month end close and reporting
• Group accounting and consolidations
• Producing a range of reports and analysis
• Development of systems and process
• Responsibility for reconciliations, intercompany and cash flow
• External reporting
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent) and will have undertaken a similar role in in which they have led a team. Additionally, you will possess strong technical accounting and systems skills, including advanced Excel.
