Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a large multi-site, forward thinking, dynamic and continually growing support services organisation; who are seeking an Assistant Accountant with the ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
This role offers hybrid working and will initially be on a 3 month fixed term contract.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts
Supporting the preparation of financial reports for budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
Variance analysis and reporting
- Extracting and manipulating data in order to support financial reporting

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or equivalent, have previous similar experience along with intermediate Excel skills.
