An outstanding business, based near Fareham, has chosen Sheridan Maine to exclusively source them an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This well run, well structured organisation has undergone a period of growth that has seen them become one of the leaders in their field.
Due to this ongoing expansion, a great position has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant- this role would be a key support to the Finance Manager in this SME, and as such the role is varied and interesting- something a little different to a traditional Assistant Accountant role- and is a great opportunity to join a business where you are looked after and respected.
Key duties for this role include, but are not limited to-
- Purchase and Sales Ledger work
- Invoice processing
- Management Accounts and Year End Accounts
- VAT Returns
- Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
- Supporting month end reporting
- Administration duties in the office as required
This role would suit a Part Qualified Accountant or AAT Qualified professional who is looking for a role that offers them autonomy and room to develop further under the guidance of a great Manager in a great business.
