Job Details
We are currently working alongside a well-known global company with finance offices based in Reading where an exciting opportunity has become available for a Financial Reporting Accountant.
Duties and responsibilities:
Being in control of all aspects of the preparation of statutory financial statements
Preparing cash flow statements and consolidations
Playing a key role within the team on a variety of large to small assignments
Provide advice and support in relation to up to date accounting standards
Liaising with external auditors
Developing and training junior members of staff
The ideal candidate:
Will be qualified ACA / ACCA or equivalent
Will have knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP
Good knowledge of Microsoft office programmes
Must have experience of client management
Confident in preparation of consolidations and cash flow statements
