A reputable company based in central Basingstoke are seeking a Assistant Accountant to join their fast paced finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to commence or actively study towards their finance qualification, with a progressive company.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:
Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Forecasting and budgeting
Preparing financial reports
Variance analysis
The successful Assistant Accountant will be part qualified or studying towards a recognised qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and will have experience working in a similar position in a fast paced finance environment.
