HR Manager - Bristol - Up to £27k + Benefits

We're currently partnering with a fantastic organisation in the heart of Bristol to support in the recruitment of their new HR Manager. This is a company that has offered vital services to the community over the last 30 years and provides a fantastic working environment to their staff, and they are keen to attract an experienced, CIPD qualified HR professional to lead on all aspects of their HR service and uphold their policies and good practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a small HR team
  • Manage all administrative activities for the employee life cycle including onboarding new starters, life cycle changes and leavers, and to comply with all statutory requirements
  • To migrate the current administrative process to Sage HR and ensure the new system capabilities are maximised
  • To liaise closely with all departments, in particular payroll and finance
  • To provide the relevant information to managers regarding queries on statutory employment law, disciplinary matters, ill-health and other employment matters
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies as required and ensure optimum arrangments are agreed
  • To oversee the employee training programme

Skills & Experience Required:
  • CIPD qualified 
  • Experience of using Sage HR or similar
  • Extensive operational HR experience
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team
  • A proven track record in streamlining systems
