Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with an established Andover based business that are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position will play a key role in supporting the management accounts teams with a varying range of duties.
- Posting journals
- Data manipulation and analysis
- Cashbook reconciliations
- Processing invoices
- Sales ledger billing
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
To be successful in this role you will have a strong level of IT skills including intermediate Excel (V-look ups, pivot tables, formulaes) and ideally be part qualified or studying towards the AAT accounting qualification. You will also be self motivated and have the ability to communicate effectively to other departments across the business as well as being able to work to deadlines when required.
This contract requirement will be for a period of 12 months on a fixed term basis and will be initially working from home. Candidates available at short notice would be considered favourably at this time.
