Sheridan Maine are pleased to be partnering with a reputable business in Surrey to assist them with the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Supervisor.
The position will be reporting to the Financial Controller and leading a small team of three. As well as being responsible for the mentoring, training and motivating the team, the role will be hands on processing invoices, dealing with queries and escalated issues. You will also be responsible for overseeing and approving payments for suppliers and expenses as well as inter-company transactions. Other duties include complex bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and aged debt reporting.
The desired candidate will be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build good rapport with internal and external customers. A strong background in purchase ledger/ accounts payable is essential along with double entry bookkeeping knowledge and prior supervisory experience.
