NEW ROLE! An exciting opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing Hi-Tech company in South Oxfordshire who are currently seeking a progressive Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Working closely with the Group Management Accountant, the role will be responsible for the smooth running of the accounts receivable function as well as other month end accounting duties.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Accurate sales ledger postings
- Liaising with sales department in relation to customer billing queries
- Credit control
- Processing expenses
- Posting journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed asset maintenance
- Assist with purchase ledger
- Month end reporting
This brand new opportunity will suit an individual who is career minded and interested in studying towards an accountancy qualification such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA. Proven experience of sales ledger is essential as well as strong systems skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload.
