Due to company growth and internal promotion, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a global business based in North Hampshire.
Working closely with the Finance Controller and joining the business during an exciting growth phase, the position will play a critical role in overseeing all general ledger accounting, payments and intercompany transactions for the business. Duties will also include the management and development of a small team as well as coordinating the audit process and liaising with external auditors.
The desired candidate will have prior experience working within a similar role ideally from a large company background. Staff management experience is essential as this person must be highly motivated and able to work with individuals to meet their KPIs and achieve a high standard of output within the team. Strong excel skills are required coupled with the ability to work well under pressure within a changeable company environment. Candidates who hold a professional accountancy qualification ACCA/ CIMA or ACA would be preferred however this is not essential if relevant experience can be demonstrated.
This 12 month fixed term contract may lead to permanent opportunities within the business and the start date must be within a 1 month notice period. A competitive salary is on offer as well as benefits including healthcare, life assurance, holidays and free car parking.
