Sheridan Maine are currently working with a world renown organisation based in Basingstoke that is currently going through an exciting growth phase and seek a temporary Accountant to join their thriving finance team.
Supporting key stakeholders and working closely with the wider finance team, the position will be broad and hold a wide range of responsibilities including;
- Preparation of management accounts and various analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing financial statements
- Intercompany accounting
- Assist with tax computations and reports
- Oversee monthly journals
- Support the ongoing system implementation project
This diverse and interesting role, requires an individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and has prior experience of working within a large organisation. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to build solid working relationships as well as having strong systems skills with knowledge of system implementation. Candidates must have relevant experience and ideally be part qualified ACCA/ ACA or CIMA.
The company have free car parking onsite and are accessible by local public transport links. The position will be for an initial period of 3-6 months but could well be extended beyond this time frame.
