We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Finance Assistant with one of our growing clients based in Basingstoke on a long term temporary basis. The successful Finance Assistant will be required to deliver finance and admin tasks working as part of a friendly and busy finance team.
You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, work well in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritise your work as required. The successful candidate will be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Excel. Attention to detail and accurate working is crucial for this position.
Previous experience working in finance is desirable.
Duties will include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Maintain the cash book
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month end reporting
- Managing and resolving queries
- Preparing payment runs
