Sheridan Maine are excited to be working with a global leading business to recruit a Treasury Analyst/ Assistant to join their busy Finance team, based in Southampton. As you would expect for a role of this kind, the main duties revolve around the daily banking routine for the business, including payments, liaising with other areas of the business, and also with the banks associated with the business.
Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to-
• Process payments and look after Petty cash
• Cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain foreign exchange databases
• Exchange rate forecasting and monitoring
• Monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Compliance reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Accounting and Finance, or hold AAT qualifications. You will have experience of working within a Finance team, either in a SME or larger business, or you may be looking for a move from within the banking sector. A good understanding of double entry book keeping is essential and you will be an Excel user to intermediate or advance level. Systems wise, any background will be considered, but if you have SAP, then all the better.
