Our client, a leading and innovative business based in mid-Hampshire is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager.
This is a pivotal role to manage the consistent and accurate delivery of financial reporting throughout the group. You will be responsible for a variety of reports including management and statutory accounts, various regulatory returns and overall reporting of investment, market credit and liquidity risk for Solvency ll requirements. There will be a key focus on managing processes and controls with an emphasis on business improvement. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly cashflow statements and forecasts whilst managing cash balances and liaising with treasury.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive financial reporting experience ideally gained within the financial services sector. Strong reporting skills and UK GAAP & IFRS experience are essential. The client is seeking someone who can ally their technical skills and their commercial nous to be astute in delivering changes to policies to understand impacts on the wider business. Experience of managing and developing staff would be an added advantage in this management level position. The successful candidate will benefit from extensive visibility across the business so personality and the ability to communicate at all levels are also key.
