Sheridan Maine are currently assisting a reputable nationwide service provider in their search for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team based in West Surrey. The opportunity will be looking to start as soon as possible with the current post holder leaving within the month.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Manager:

• Daily and Month end Bank Reconciliations

• Investigating and highlighting variances

• Raising invoices

• Preparing and submitting Sales & Dispatch lists within required timescales and VAT submission

• Preparing and processing inter-group recharges

• Preparing Journals

• Payment run processing

• Dealing with queries

• Ad-hoc cover for Payroll, Purchase and Sales Ledger, Accounts assistant functions (in the event of sickness/holiday)

• Supporting the finance manager across all areas of finance

Successful applicants will have:

• 5+ Years accounts experience

• Experience working with multiple sites

• Sage Payroll Experience

• High proficiency with Excel and good IT skills

• Experience building relationships with off-site teams
