Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting a Payroll Administrator on behalf of a large corporate business who is a market leader within their field. We are looking for a professional candidate who has previous payroll exposure and is seeking a new role in a fast paced team.
To be based out of the Basingstoke offices, key responsibilities within this role will consist of:
Completing weekly and monthly payroll.
Setting up new starters.
Ensure all submitted hours are accurate.
Calculating and recording SSP and SMP.
Changing tax codes, bank details, addresses etc.
Monitoring employee's personal payroll files.
It is essential that you are confident in using payroll systems as well as Excel. The successful individual will be able to work within a team as well as being able to work independently. Being able to work under pressure and attention to detail is crucial for this role.
Our client seeks a Payroll Administrator who is immediately available or available at short notice for a fixed term contract period of initially 6-9 months. The company offer excellent benefits including pension, holidays and parking.
