Sheridan Maine are looking to speak to qualified Finance Managers who are seeking their next contract role to work for a FTSE 100 listed manufacturing business. This role will be alternating 1 week on, 1 week off, between 2 sites in South Wales & Newcastle and will report into the Financial controller.
We would like to hear from candidates with leadership experience as you will be line managing a team of 4, ensuring performance & communication is maintained in the absence of the FC. You will be responsible for driving performance & continuous improvement of the operations team whilst providing accurate management information to influence key decisions.
We would like to hear from you if you are a strong people manager who likes to challenge & influence decisions through strong relationship building with internal & external customers. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant, however we will consider those that are QBE if you possess the right experience.
What will I be doing?
- Supporting development of finance team to improve & maintain performance.
- Provide accurate information to ops managers to aid financial decisions
- Liaise with project accountants to support regular finance & business reviews
- Support process improvement to support profitability analysis
- Support & oversee fixed asset management process
