He hath no leisure who useth not! We are delighted to be working alongside a global leader in the leisure industry who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their finance team based in Poole. This is a fixed term role to serve a period of at least 5 months.
As Ledger Assistant, you will accurately process sales ledger and bought ledger transactions on a timely basis. The role will include a varied workload consisting of processing supplier invoices and credit notes, assisting in general ledgers duties, reconciling supplier statements, cash matching and ensuring payments are on the weekly cash flow.
You will complete credit controls and assist with issues when necessary, maintain and update the system once copies of documents have been sent to sites/internally and filed correctly. You will also be required to support the overall finance team through ad-hoc tasks and general office duties.
You will have a strong Ledger background and have an ability to work on your own initiative with experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment. You will also be fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and accounting software packages (ideally Navison). Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are also essential for this role.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
