Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working with an international business based in the Southampton area who have an immediate opportunity on a project basis. The project duration is initially for 6 months but could be extended.
Following a recent systems implementation there is a requirement for an Interim Financial Projects Accountant to focus on the remediation of ongoing data and process issues, specifically to improve the accuracy of the Profit & Loss accounts on a monthly basis. There will be a need to liaise regularly with Project Managers and other key financial stakeholders to ensure that the information is correct and to assist with clearing legacy debt issues.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant, ideally with a practice trained background (ACA, ACCA) to adopt an audit approach to the issues. Experience of working in an international business and previous relevant project based experience would be beneficial.
