Sheridan Maine are working with a large manufacturing business based in the heart of Reading, walking distance from the train station, who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong Accounts Payable, Payroll and Credit Control experience.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Processing invoices on a daily basis
- Raising invoices
- Sending out statements
- Dealing with queries
- Preparing payment runs
- Chasing outstanding debts
- Bank reconciliations
- Calculating payments such as sickness, holiday and maternity pay
The business are located in central Reading and can be accessed easily by public transport links. The business are offered a competitive hourly rate within a great working environment. Candidates available at short notice will be favoured for this position.
