An expanding business based in Newbury have entrusted Sheridan Maine to assist them in their search for a Finance Manager. Working within a niche sector the position will be varied and take full responsibility for the day to day running of finance.
Key duties of the role will include;
- Posting accounts on Sage
- Processing payments
- Running PAYE/ Payroll and liaising with HMRC
- Credit control
- Bank Reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Trial balance
- Profit and loss reporting and analysis
The successful candidate will have the following skills;
- Prior experience of bookkeeping within a small company
- Competent IT skills with Sage and Excel
- AAT Qualification (not essential)
- Self motivated and hard working
