Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working exclusively with a retail business on the outskirts of Winchester who is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Within this position you will be involved with maintaining the general and nominal ledgers as well as assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
• Reviewing nominal coding on purchase ledger invoices
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Posting journals
• Ensuring expense postings are accurate
• Preparing sales and margin reports
• Managing the fixed assets
• Reviewing expense claims
The successful Accounts Assistant will have previous experience working within a large, fast paced finance environment and will be studying, or qualified with AAT. Experience of working with an integrated accounting system would be desirable as well as Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.
