Sheridan Maine is proud to be working in partnership with a thriving, independent firm in search of a new Accounts Senior to join their ranks in Berkshire.

This established Practice aims to serve their clientele base in a range of services, operating by core values to ensure a first class experience for clients, and a diverse, supportive culture for their staff. They incorporate new practices to reflect the unique needs of each client, bringing a modern dynamic vibe across all disciplines.

Some responsibilities this role entails include; the preparation of year end accounts under FRS105 and FRS102; business tax computations and self-assessment tax returns for business owners; providing personal and business tax advice to clients; build rapport with clients by being a first point of contact and attending client meetings.

The suitable candidate will ideally be ACA / ACCA qualified, with experience working with statutory accounting, corporate tax computations and CT600s. Knowledge of Iris would be beneficial but not essential and a desire to provide good service to clients is paramount, as this role offers admirable client exposure.
