An established, independently owned business based in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to manage their accounts payable and receivable. The position would ideally suit someone who has good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator will include:
Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors
Reconcile financial statements
Prepare, send, and store invoices
Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
Submit tax forms
Identify and address discrepancies
Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
Update internal accounting databases
Payroll / Pension management
Ad-hoc duties where required (customer queries, answer phones etc.)
The successful Accounts Administrator will require the following skills and experience:
Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
Hands-on experience with accounting software
Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
Good organisational and time-management abilities
