Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering a well-established Coventry based business to recruit a Company Accountant.
This is a key position, reporting directly into the Board of Directors that supports the selection and implementation of a new in-house payroll system.
Responsibilities of the Company Accountant will include:
Manage a small team
Preparation of an overview of monthly results for senior managers
Lead the preparation of the annual budget
Prepare quarterly management accounts
Prepare quarterly VAT returns and monthly payroll
Prepare annual accounts for directors and for the year end audit
The successful Company Accountant will require the following skills and experience:
ACA or ACCA qualified
Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience within a practice or SMEs
Excellent IT skills
Experience with Microsoft ERP system
Knowledge of Business Central 21 is an advantage
