Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering an award-winning Media organisation to recruit a Group Financial Controller. This is an interesting and key role in a growing, international business.
Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller include:
Working collaboratively with regional Financial Controllers to deliver Group Management and Statutory Accounts
Responsible for quarterly forecasting, including cash flow management and treasury planning
Leading Monthly Management reporting, including commentary on results, KPIs and insightful variance analysis
Preparation and maintenance of Group Transfer Pricing policies, procedures and calculations
Responsibility for the Group’s annual statutory audit process, including preparation of consolidated financial information and documents
Assisting with integrations of new companies/departments
Direct support to CFO & CEO in all matters relating to investment opportunities, including valuation modelling and analysis
The successful Group Financial Controller will require the following skills and experience:
Fully qualified accountant, preferably ACA, CA(SA), CA ANZ or equivalent and with audit experience at Top 10 audit firm and with minimum 3 years post qualifying experience
Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of people
Sound and up to date knowledge of UKGAAP and IFRS, with working knowledge of other regimes including US GAAP, HK GAAP, Australian GAAP
Experienced in international accounting, including Transfer Pricing regimes, withholding taxes, and multi-currency reporting
Flexible working (including hybrid/remote working) on offer.
