Our client is an established business and a leader in its field, they are proud of what they've achieved and have built a long-standing and loyal team.  They have a temporary opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the business for 3-6 months with possibility of extension.

This is a hybrid working position with 4 days per week based at their Midsomer Norton office and 1 day working from home.
 
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Assist with capital expenditure requests
• Reviews and analysis
• Responsible for stock valuation
• Liaison with auditors
• Invoicing and reconciliations
• Business partnering with both internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of a range of reports
• VAT returns
• Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly P&L accounts including commentary to senior management
• Support with year-end audit

• Technical accounting knowledge
• Able to conduct investigations and present information clearly and accurately
• Able to interact effectively with other departments to ensure the integrity of financial data
• Good time management skills to consistently meet accounting timetables
