Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting an immediately available Management Accountant for a truly innovative, growing business who have enjoyed exponential growth in Bournemouth.

With the business expanding further, this is an exciting time for a Management Accountant to become an integral part of the head office function in Bournemouth. As part of this growing finance team, this role will involve assisting the Head of Finance with the monthly management accounting (including some analysis).  You will work closely with all members of the finance team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of management accounts for multiple subsidiaries in the Group.

The role includes:

• Assisting in the production of management accounts
• Calculation and posting of the monthly accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet and Inter-company reconciliations
• Processing payroll and other journals
• Calculating and processing intra-group recharges
• Ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of Finance
• Preparation of working documents for the year end audit process
• Assisting with audit queries and general adhoc queries through to resolution 

• Qualified ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent 
• Available at short notice
• Must have sound experience of Management Accounts, Financial Accounting, Ledger control and reconciliations 
• Analytical mindset, willing to challenge the grain as well as advise on key areas to improve
• Able to work in an evolving and fast paced environment
• Excellent Excel Skills
