We have just had word of this fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic FMCG business based in northwest London.  They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team.
 
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include:

  • Processing non-stock invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding of invoices and purchase orders
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Raising payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing fortnightly BACS payments
  • Processing cash expenses
  • Liaising with other departments
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Leading with process improvement initiatives
  • Providing assistance to the Finance team as and when required
 
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will require the following skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role (minimum one year)
  • Experience using Microsoft Navision accounting system
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
