Sheridan Maine is recruiting for an experienced and ambitious Management Accountant to join a Group finance team and assist with the delivery of a professional financial service to the business.  Our client offers a friendly and positive work culture along with good opportunities for career growth.
 
Along with a competitive salary of up to £42k and excellent benefits, the company also operate a hybrid working policy with 4 days working from home, and 1 day per week based at its lovely office in Poole.
 
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts and assisting with annual statutory accounts
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Business partnering with budget holders and stakeholders
• Manage, support and develop a small team of assistant management accountants
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Journal processing
• Provision of variance analysis
• Some reporting and other analysis
• Question of financial systems and seek to correct errors
• Ad hoc project work

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Collaborative approach to problem solving
• Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
• Effective communicator, able to establish and build relationships across the business
• Highly organised and have impeccable attention to detail
