Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established organisation based in central London.  They are currently recruiting for a Senior Group Financial Accountant who will join their busy finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract.  This position will suit a qualified Accountant with proven experience of working in a Group environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Senior Group Financial Accountant include:

• Managing the UK subsidiaries statutory accounts process
• Preparing the statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102
• Co-ordinating the audit process of the subsidiary statutory accounts
• Conducting the required impairment reviews for the statutory accounts which hold investments
• Assisting with the preparation of the group accounts
• Preparing technical accounting information and papers where required
• Supporting with monthly reporting
• Providing technical and accounting assistance to other accountants

• Accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Knowledge of finance systems (NetSuite and SAP Financial Consolidation)
• Highly organised
