A rapidly growing business, based on the South Coast near Portsmouth is seeking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to join their Corporate Accounting team. Hybrid working is available for this position with typically 2-3 days per week based onsite.

Working directly under the direction of the Financial Reporting Manager, the focus for this role will be to assist with the routine day-to-day accounting for a variety of corporate entities and trusts which act as Special Purpose Vehicles within fund structures. This will include:

• Bookkeeping and accounting tasks for the aforementioned corporate entities including interim and annual accounts preparation
• Dealing with routine audit queries
• Ad hoc reporting and liaison with clients
• Assist with directing and mentoring more junior members of the team
• Maintaining accurate accounting records for external clients

You will be studying towards a relevant professional accounting qualification, ideally having commenced ACCA Fundamental or ACA Professional level however candidates who are nearing this stage or are AAT Qualified would still be of high interest for this role. Good Excel and general systems literacy would be highly beneficial.
