Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly expanding international corporate travel company in London. They are looking to onboard a Group Financial Controller who will report directly into the CFO, assist with daily management of the accounting function whilst improve the companies group function.
 
Role:

  • Responsible for the consolidated monthly Group Accounts which includes:
    • Monthly consolidated P&L, including analysis
    • Intercompany matrix
    • Investor reporting
    • Board presentations
  • Complete monthly Group balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
  • Manager GL, AP and AR and wider finance function (c30) including shared service centre
  • Responsible for all intercompany tasks, including postings, preparation of monthly statements and reconciliations
  • Responsible for Group Companies’ year-end statutory accounts and audit, including preparation of audit schedules and analysis, and liaising with the auditors
  • Preparation of the statutory accounts for all legal entities in line with IFRS (from 2021)
  • Responsible for drafting new accounting policies for the Group, changes to existing policies, and accounting for complex areas
  • Leading FP&A function with Budgets and Forecasts requirements
  • Look to continuously improve and automate month end and year end processes whilst improve group structure
  • Support the senior finance team on adhoc projects as and when required
The candidate:
  • Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Be prepared to travel up to 4 times a year
  • Experience of working with an ERP desirable
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Ability to work in a small team
  • Able to manage multiple work streams and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced growth environment and able to adapt
