My client is a rapidly growing British retailer that is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant into their team. This temporary position has potential to go permanent and will be hybrid working so would be a mix of working from home and working at the firm’s head office based in Bath.
This role would ideally suit someone with an interest in undertaking a career in finance, AAT qualified or studying towards qualifications.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant will include:
Processing supplier invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Processing supplier payment runs
Processing sales invoices and maintaining the aged debtors ledger
Coding and uploading on Finance system
Processing staff expenses
Providing support to wider Finance team where necessary
Actively seeking ways to improve processes
Competencies required for the Finance Assistant:
Previous experience in a similar role
SAGE 50 experience is desirable
Solid Excel Skills (Pivots/Filters/VLookups)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
