Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working alongside a Poole based business to assist with their search for a Site Accountant.  The position will suit a qualified Accountant or a Finalist with at least 3 years accounting experience.
 
The role requires you to be largely based at the firm’s site in Poole, however the company offer some flexibility whereby working from home is an occasional option.  The site has on-site parking and the position offers 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and posting of journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Stock reporting
  • P&L analysis and key variance commentary
  • Production and upload of monthly control reports
  • Working with the finance team to assist with tax returns, Accounts Payable and Payroll accounting procedures
  • Lead audit process for site and statutory accounts
  • Dealing with bank reconciliations
  • Production and presentation of monthly management reports to site management teams
 
What you will need to be great for this role: 
  • Qualified or part qualified Accountant with a proven track record
  • Ability to analyse complex financial information
  • Experience of managing finance projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to conduct meetings with people at all levels of the organisation
