Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with an established company and a UK leader within its field. They are currently looking for a payroll expert with previous project experience to join their team. This 6-month fixed term contract role can be worked remotely, but attendance to the Chippenham head office will occasionally be required.
Your role will be to work with the project team to assist with the implementation of their new payroll platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Be responsible for all Payroll testing activities and continually review Payroll test scenarios
• Support on all data migration activities and all aspects of implementation
• Ensure all Payroll operational tasks are delivered within the agreed project timeline
• Work in collaboration with the Payroll and Project team to manage all risks and issues
• Lead on the live running of Payroll as it moves from implementation to business as usual
• Deliver a full handover to the payroll team ensuring payroll runs smoothly within the live environment
• Assist with the plans of any Payroll training material
What you will need to be great for this role:
• Wide-ranging Payroll knowledge and understanding of UK payroll legislation
• Experience of Oracle Cloud
• Understanding of process improvement and business change
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well on one’s own initiative as well as part of a team
• Strong influencing skills
