Sheridan Maine are working in partnership with a division of a major business services organisation to recruit a Head of Finance with a focus on large change projects. This will be a senior role with extensive liaison with the senior management team, operations and the divisional Finance Director.
Key responsibilities will include managing large transformation programmes for the business unit which will include tracking performance and milestones against budgets. Another key aspect will be to similarly manage large contract mobilisations whilst also tracking milestones, budgets and reporting all results back to key stakeholders. You will play a key role in producing month end forecasts, budgets and the strategic plan for the business facing teams and through managing business change you will engender a mentality of continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5 years+ relevant PQE gained in a commercial organisation ideally in a change orientated role. You will need to be able to manipulate large and complex data with the ability to translate the results into a clear and concise format to relay to key stakeholders. Proven experience of driving a change agenda allied to an up to date knowledge of regulatory standards of financial reporting are key to success in this position. Strong systems skills are a requirement for this opportunity including Excel and exposure to major ERP systems such as SAP.
