This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has some basic accounting experience within credit control / sales ledger, or someone who is confident with strong analytical skills who is looking to start a career in finance.
 
We are currently working with an growing and successful business who are looking to recruit a Junior Credit Controller on a permanent basis to start ASAP.

Key responsibilities: 

• Setting up and maintaining customer accounts, including credit limit applications
• Chasing outstanding debts
• Processing payments and refunds on the banking system
• Sending out monthly customer statements and direct debit administration
• Building relationships with customers and controlling funds
• Credit clearing customer orders
• Dealing with Sales Ledger queries
• Entry of bank receipts onto the accounting system
• Providing general support to the wider finance team

• The ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
• Be eager to learn and develop new skills and progress in a credit control role
• Be confident with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ideally have some experience of working in an office environment or a similar role within a finance team
• Possess strong analytical skills
• Have working knowledge of MS Office including Excel
