Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a growing business based in Bournemouth who are looking for an Accounts Assistant specialising in Reconciliations. The role is offered on a temp to perm basis.
Reporting into the Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for:
Reconciling of supplier statements, liaising with suppliers, regions and dealing with any queries
Ensuring invoices are paid within timescales agreed
Reworking invoices to match to orders and goods receipt
Coding of customer services and loss invoices for entry
Education and Qualifications
The successful applicant is likely to be experienced in a purchase ledger or finance transactional processing environment
Knowledge & Experience
Experience in supplier communications is desirable together with knowledge of finance transactional processing on a finance system
An understanding of basic accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping is essential
Skills & Competencies
Ability to comply with strict monthly processing and reporting requirements
Efficient transactional processing skills and ability to deal with transactional volumes effectively
Ability to learn new system processing skills quickly
