An exciting opportunity has arisen within a business in the outskirts of Christchurch. Sheridan Maine are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic design organisation who aspire to be a global market leader in their field within the next 5 years.
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day management of all ledgers and will take responsibility for stock accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and company cards. The successful candidate will make sure that purchase orders and invoices are posted promptly and paid within credit terms as well as supporting the Management Accountant with month end and cash flow accounting.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is studying AAT and looking for their first role in Accounting or with 6-12 months experience and looking for their next step. The successful candidate will be organised, determined and looking for a challenge in a fast growing company that is always keen for their staff to progress.
The ideal candidate will have accounting knowledge and a strong understanding of Excel.
